SO BEAUTIFUL WITH BEAUTIFUL MUSIC! I broke the game 3 times but sooo worth it! Could this be a prequal to two lines? i think thatd be dope! anywho great job again
Check out PEK's playthrough below. He just about nailed the story, which unfortunately isn't compatible with Two Lines. They both have their own standalone stories. Cool idea though! Thanks for posting!
That's awesome! Thank you! Yes indeed, NEMESES is intended to be a full length, AAA quality game, with respect to my capabilities. Expect something much bigger, better, darker, and immersive... er. I don't have an official release date for the demo, but you can follow along on Instagram if you're interested @NEMESEShorror
Thanks for playing! I'm sorry about the hardware restrictions, I really didn't have time to optimize it. In the meantime, if you'd like to play an earlier demo of NEMESES, send me an email at mattreevesproduction@gmail.com and I'll hook you up. It's pretty graphics-heavy, so hopefully it'll run in your rig.
Hey, thanks a ton for playing! Glad you saw my post. I have another one that's much scarier, if you're interested.
As far as story, you figured out the main points, so great job on that. I was worried this game would be too cryptic.
Great feedback, too. It's funny, I realized I had an hour left before the deadline when I was blocking off areas you're not supposed to explore, so I had to leave it where it was so I could get everything submitted. As a last ditch effort, I tried to block off the area you fell down, but I did it in a rush, and missed that tiny little corner. The problem of course is the fact that uploads are disabled until the end of the voting period, so I just have to live with it for the remainder of that period before I can fix it. And same thing with taking visual damage; I had intended to add that, but ran out of time. I really liked your idea about telling the story throughout, but I would have to rework the ending, and at this point I think I'll leave it, especially since most of the game's exposure will happen while I can't change anything.
Anyway, thanks again for playing! I hope to watch you play more of my games!
Thank you! This was a really fun one for me. I always look forward to seeing what kind of crazy stuff I'll pull out of my brain in a week. And I would say I'm most proud of the music. Definitely some of the best music I've ever written. I've discovered a new way to write that has completely changed my approach to it, especially when I have to crank something out in a short period of time. Works like a charm.
If you're wondering how I do it all, it has a lot to do with the fact that I've been developing games since I was about 11, and I'm 30 now. So I've been making games for most of my life. It's been my dream for as long as I can remember, and I'm just finally stepping into a serious pursuit of it. Thanks for the hype. I really appreciate the people who really appreciate what I do. And I know you do. Can't wait to watch your video.
This looked promising! Unfortunately, it doesn't run well on my system and there weren't any settings I could launch to adjust, but what I got into looked lovely. Hopefully others with a better PC will come along and give it a shot, haha!
Well thanks for trying anyway! Since I'm a one man team, there are certain features that I am just not able to squeeze into jam games. At least not the initial release. When I've got time, I'll try and come back to this and add a quality feature so you can play!
So apparently you can adjust the quality with a console command. It's really easy. Just start up the game and press the "~" button, then type "SCALABILITY 2" and hit "enter". That should lower the quality down. If that's not enough, you can try doing the same thing but changing the number to 1 or 0. Hopefully you can play it now! Let me know whether or not that works.
Hey, just wanted to let you know I tried it and it did work to lower the quality, making the game more playable for me! It also made it look pretty bad, so I didn't record it BUT I did play it and I enjoyed it! Nice twist at the end, really like your work!

This is an interesting game for sure. Might wanna block off that one area so others don't fall into it.
Here's my channel for other games I have played. http://www.youtube.com/c/Levont
